Women love the idea of a day at the spa to be pampered and made-over from head to toe. In this session, Sharon takes women to God’s spa for the Ultimate Makeover. Many women struggle with feelings of inferiority, insecurity, and inadequacy. However, when they discover who they are, what they have, and where they are in Christ, God transforms them into the confident women He intended all along. Women learn how to see themselves as God sees them, change the way they think, and experience the only makeover with lasting results.
Session One: Discovering a Brand New You!
In this session, Sharon begins by describing the unrealistic expectations placed on women today. This comical segue invites women to relax and enjoy holy humor. Sharon then shares her own personal “makeover” story – her amazing testimony of God’s deliverance from a home filled with alcohol and abuse. She helps women understand that each of us, no matter what our background, can overcome feelings of inferiority, insecurity, and inadequacy, by understanding who we are, what we have, and where we are in Christ.
Session Two: Leaving the Past Behind
What keeps us from living the victorious Christian life? If we are a new creation in Christ, then why do we continue to struggle with the same old issues? What keeps us from maturing spiritually? Many times we can't move forward in the in present because of road blocks from the past. The cloud of past mistakes and abuses block the light of Christ from shining through. In this session, Sharon teaches how to leave the past behind by finding the gold in each painful situation, forgiving those who have hurt you, and forgiving yourself.
Session Three: Taking Every Thought Captive
Every spiritual battle is won or lost in the battlefield of the mind. In this session Sharon teaches four important steps to taking every thought captive and renewing the mind: Realize the enemy’s true identity, Recognize the lie, Reject the lie, Replace the lie with truth. Women leave equipped to out truth the enemy and experience victory in their thought lives.
