Butterfly Moments
I was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 years ago, when I was 53. (I will tell you I am 10 years cancer free. PTL.) Anyway, I would walk in the fields around our home talking to God , asking why and feeling so alone. As I walked and cried I noticed a butterfly just flitting along beside me.. It calmed me. This happened many times and I know it was God sending me calmness and reassuring me everything was going to be alright. About 4 years ago I was going through another troubled time. I was sitting on my porch crying, feeling sad and so alone.. A butterfly came and perched on my leg, just sit there, it then moved closer up on my arm, and through the tears , I started to smile and praise God and thanking Him for always being there for me, knowing everything would work out right. I spend my summer photographing, butterflies, dragonflies and all Gods wonderful nature. I then make greeting cards, with some of them, for friends. Nature is just another way God shows us how much He loves us.. With him all things are possible.
